Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather came across strong criticisms from the fans for their slow-paced bout in their exhibition, which ended up in a draw in June. Both men engaged each other in too many clinches and were criticized for offering a ‘hug-fest’. They also landed prominent shots, and ‘The Maverick’ could see the distance against one of the greatest boxers of all time.
As no judges scored the fight and they claimed only knockouts legitimate, neither man could win. But it was clearly an achievement on Paul’s side. The social media star fought an undefeated boxer and could walk away without suffering a loss. Well, ‘The Maverick’ clearly enjoys it and will do till his last breath.
As we stand almost six months away from the matchup, Paul continues to sample it in several moments. In a light conversation with Mike Majlak, Paul once again took a shade at ‘TBE’ and assaulted (pun intended) his Impaulsive Podcast’s co-host the same way he fought Mayweather.

While he challenged Paul for an assault, ‘The Maverick’ hugged him and said, “Gummy Bear, I Love You.” Although had Paul fought Mayweather with more aggression, the lack of intense action grabbed little appreciation from the traditional fans. Nevertheless, Logan Paul earned Floyd Mayweather’s respect as the 26-year-old urged ‘TBE’ to retire full time.

Before the in-ring affair, Mayweather had vowed to stop Logan Paul. But the fight took place in an open weight category and Paul came in with a sheer advantage in height and weight. It was far from a professional fight that saw both men dragging each other to the distance.
Post-bout, Mayweather praised Logan Paul for being tougher than he thought. He also hinted at never appearing in exhibitions.
