Jake Paul’s win over the UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in the rematch earned a lot of controversy because of the way it ended. Those who underestimate Paul’s boxing skills and in-the-ring IQ because of his YouTube blogging background accused him of allegedly fixing the bout. Many could not digest the fact that Jake Paul knocked out the well-established combat sport warrior with one punch.

The Ring shared a post on Facebook today. According to this, Paul gave a signal to Woodley to drop the guard and eat a knockout punch. The reason they gave was that before unleashing the right hook, ‘The Problem Child’ signaled Woodley with his gloves. The video posted highlights of the hand movement of Paul just before taking the shot.
Notably, Woodley came on short notice to fill the space left vacant by Paul’s rival, Tommy Fury. The latter pulled out of the fight due to injury. In the initial rounds, Woodley dominated Paul and was leading on the scorecard, but one unexpected shot changed the entire scenario. He fell to the floor with no sign of getting up and resuming the fight.
When this post circulated on Facebook, it captured fans’ attention.
