Liam Paro and Yomar Alamo had a tremendous battle on the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley card. The opening bout of the fight night certainly proved to be an entertainer as it managed to keep fans at the edge of their seats. However, it was Paro’s night in the end, as he attained a terrific SD win.

Liam Paro began proceedings well with his long and strong jabs. He had his one and two ready to put Alamo on the back foot. Later, the Australian boxer used feint and jab to outclass Alamo. However, the Puerto Rican boxer caught his adversary with a mammoth right hand to send him to the canvas.

The southpaw boxer dropped his guard, and he got punished for the same. However, he rectified this mistake in round 2. Alamo, on the other hand, used the ring space and moved well to confuse Paro.

Although Paro targeted Alamo’s body in round 3, he failed to get much success with the same.

Alamo proved to be a great counter attacker, and he kept stunning the Australian with his jab and lead right hand. In response, Paro went through the gears from the second half of the fight and didn’t give Alamo an opportunity to counter-attack.

Liam Paro showed his hunger to win

Paro was a busy fighter in this fight. Despite that knockdown, he remained eager to march ahead with his hits. On top of that, the southpaw maintained a fine punching accuracy.

In round 6, Alamo again shook Paro with a classic right hand because of which the 25-year-old took a knee. However, it was later seen in the replay that Paro’s leg went outside the ring. Hence, in a hurry, he took a knee because of misjudgment.

The scuffle between the two men went till the final bell as both the boxers refused to give up. After 10-rounds of high-voltage action, the judges finally ruled this fight in favor of the Australian boxer with 94-95, 96-93, and 95-94.
