Is Gabriela Fundora the next big thing in boxing, or will Alaniz halt her meteoric rise?

Gabriela Fundora has taken the boxing world by storm in a very short career. In just 14 fights, she has the chance to become the youngest undisputed champion ever at the age of 22. She currently holds the women’s IBF flyweight title and will face Gabriela Celeste Alaniz, who currently holds the WBA, WBC, and WBO titles, on November 2 in the Flyweight unification bout.

Gabriela Fundora is the younger sister of the WBC and WBO light middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora. The duo made history when they became the first siblings to hold world titles simultaneously. With the chance to script history at such a young age, the 22-year-old is motivated and inspired and the fans can’t wait to see her in action.

Yesterday, Golden Boy Promotions took to ‘X’ and posted an edit hyping up the Gabriela Fundora-Gabriela Celeste Alaniz fight at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The video featured the best moments of Fundora’s career and her journey to becoming a women’s IBF flyweight champion. They captioned the post: “History will be made on November 2nd 🔥Gabriela Fundora is fighting to become the youngest undisputed champion 👑.”

The video also featured several commentary snippets praising Sweet Poison’s ring IQ, referring to her as “a killer.” Fundora, like her older brother, is a towering presence in the ring at 5’9 feet and constantly capitalizes on her reach. Her powerful jab and counter-punching accommodated by her southpaw stance make her a tricky opponent for anyone.

The Palm Beach native has won 6 out of her 14 fights via knockout and on November 2nd, she would like to repeat the same and write her name in history books. Well, fans are excited and pumped up for the match and are looking forward to seeing Gabriela Fundora in action.
