Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis is hands down one of the greatest in the sport of boxing, and his return to the ring would be a spectacle of epic proportions. However, will that ever happen? He is 59 after all. People who really want this to happen may say, if Mike Tyson, 58, can do it, why can’t he?

Well, if you did want this to happen, boy, do we have news for you? While appearing in an interview with Boxing News, ‘The Lion’ revealed he is open to making a comeback to the squared circle to dance once again. However, there’s a teeny-tiny condition for his return.

Speaking to the Hall of Famer, the reporter from Boxing News casually asked Lewis about his potential return to the ring. In a surprising response, the 59-year-old said, “Depends on what the price is” with a wide grin on his face. It’s worth noting that the Englishman retired back in 2004 after defeating Vitali Klitschko.

He fought Vitali Klitschko at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and won the fight via a 6th-round knockout to defend his WBC, IBO, and The Ring championship titles. Safe to say that even on his way out of the sport, Lewis had the skill and power to put the former WBO title holder on the canvas. Regardless, this isn’t the first time Lewis has flirted with a boxing comeback.

Lennox Lewis also wants Jake Paul

Back in May, Lennox Lewis expressed a keen interest in a bout with Jake Paul once the YouTube star settles his score with Mike Tyson. In an interview with Fox 29 Philadelphia, when asked about facing the winner of Tyson vs. Paul, Lewis responded, “I hope that Tyson saves a little bit of Jake Paul for me.”

Lewis, who defeated Tyson in 2002, believes Tyson will win the upcoming fight, stating, “Mike Tyson’s gonna win. Mike Tyson’s not that old. Don’t take him too softly.” He added, “The age will be a little bit of a determining factor if the fight goes on too long, but if they get close and Mike Tyson comes with his 10-second combination…he’s definitely gonna go down.”

That said, Jake Paul may have his second fight ready to go once he is done with Mike Tyson. However, he will have to defeat Tyson first, which many believe would be a task harder than learning rocket science. Regardless, would you want to watch Lewis face off against Paul?
