Unlike Jake Paul, KSI’s mother Yinka declined the idea of stealing Floyd Mayweather’s hat. According to her, it is a disrespectful thing to play with someone’s hat in order to capture attention.

Yinka’s younger son, the YouTube star Deji Olatunji, is all set to face the former five-weight division champ in a big-money exhibition on Sunday. The fight will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

Ahead of this showdown, her son and Mayweather both are engaging in media conferences to promote an upcoming event. Since Deji is in direct contact with Mayweather as an opponent, it is expected that his mother Yinka will also get an opportunity to meet Mayweather. Keeping this in mind, a fan on Twitter asked Yinka, “Can you please take Floyd Mayweather’s hat.”

To which Yinka replied, “I’ll not be disrespectful, I was not raised that way.”

Mvp updates shared this on Instagram and wrote, “KSI’s mother refers to Gotcha hat as disrespectful.”

This subject recalls the infamous incident that took place between ‘The Problem Child’ and ‘The Pretty Boy’ in 2021.

What happened between Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather?

In 2021, ‘The Best Ever booked an exhibition with Jake Paul’s elder brother, Logan Paul. The event became a buzz because Mayweather was coming back with gloves for the first time in his home country after taking retirement in 2017.

Before the actual matchup, Mayweather and Paul met at Hard Rock Stadium to promote the event.

The 6-0 boxer also came along with his brother to support him, but with the intention of creating chaos. When the press conference finished, Mayweather walked off the stage. ‘The Problem Child’ got an opportunity. He pressed towards the undefeated former champ and snatched his hat.

Though he succeeded in taking the hat off, Paul could not escape. Mayweather and his team caught him and a brawl broke out.
