YouTuber turned boxing sensation KSI is all set to test his mettle against Joe Fournier. However, it looks like he already has his eyes set on his next potential fight and opponent. KSI recently took to social media to express his desire to face Brazilian YouTuber and boxer, Whindersson Nunes, for his next fight. Meanwhile, Nunes’ upcoming opponent, King Kenny, had a few choice words to say about KSI’s callout.
In a recent tweet, KSI commended Nunes for his performance at Kingpyn Boxing. He mentioned that he was awed by the energy that Nunes and his fans brought to the arena. Moreover, KSI even went on to state that Nunes was bigger than the promotion.

KSI further went on to call him out for a fight. He said, “I wanna fight you in a stadium in Brazil. Whatever Kingpyn are paying you, I’ll triple it. Kingpyn can replace you with someone else in the tournament. Let’s do it after my fight in May.”
It is worth mentioning that this tweet came after Nunes’ recent 2nd-round TKO against Filipek at the Wembley Arena in London. This statement, however, did not sit well with Kenny who proceeded to warn KSI to not ‘sabotage’ his fight.
Nunes is set to face Kenny for the High Stakes Tournament semi-final, on June 3, 2023, at the 3Arena in Dublin.
The upcoming KSI vs Joe Fournier showdown
While he might be looking forward to a future fight against Nunes. KSI’s upcoming showdown against Fournier is an intriguing feat in itself. It is worth mentioning that KSI is the current Misfits Cruiserweight titleholder. And, will be defending the same in his upcoming fight against Fournier at the Wembley Arena.

Fournier, on the other hand, is certain of his victory against KSI. In a recent video, he even took a dig at him, saying, “He’s already got a black eye. He’s already half-cooked. It’s like taking candy from a baby or Prime from a corner shop in Hounslow.”
He then proceeded to punch a boxing bag that had a picture of KSI pasted on it. And, added that he will take him down in four punches.
