KSI’s Manager Reveals Real Reason Behind Jake Paul’s Refusal to Fight So Far

The animosity between Jake Paul and KSI originated in the early days of YouTube boxing, where KSI and Jake’s brother, Logan Paul, were prominent figures. After a defeat dealt to the older brother by KSI, Jake has not been able to move on from his brother’s loss and still seeks revenge against KSI, leading to their ongoing feud.

Earlier this year, Tommy Fury disrupted Jake Paul’s flawless boxing journey before KSI had the chance to prove himself in the ring against Paul. Defeating the MMA fighter now would not only establish KSI’s dominance in boxing but also symbolize a major victory over his rival, Paul. This is the course KSI chose for himself. He is battling Fury on the 14th of October. Mams Taylor, appearing on a True Geordie, KSI’s manager has revealed why Jake decided to proceed without putting his rivalry with KSI to rest with a punch down.

Why Jake Paul refused the money fight?

Owing to the long-stretched feud between the two influencer-boxers, fans had been anticipating an exciting takedown between them. According to Taylor, after the fight with Fury, he advocated taking up the Prime Hydration founder next. This would have generated towering revenues for both. Jake, however, was adamant about dodging the fight so he could take on a bigger opponent.

“They did the Tommy fight. I pushed, I said let’s do the JJ fight next. He said- I like Nakisa(Bidarian), in fairness, I like this fight; I think this is what JJ should do next. I think it’s a great money fight. Jake said- No, I don’t wanna do this fight and his excuse was-I wanna redeem my loss by fighting a bigger name.” Some fans believe it is just another excuse to duck KSI while some remain unsure of the reliability of this information.

Jake Paul throws another jab at KSI

With the fight just around the corner, the ‘Problem Child’ is set to grace the ringside, adding a layer of intensity to the battle. As he supports his older brother, Logan Paul, who faces off against Dillon Danis in the undercard event, all eyes are on the thrilling KSI vs. Fury fight. But there’s more to this event than meets the eye. Addressing KSI’s ambitions to defeat ‘TNT’, Paul believes it does not prove his superiority on him.
