Jake Paul really is fearless, isn’t he? Or he just knows how to push people’s buttons? Believe whatever you want, but The Problem Child has been the talk of the town for the past few days. After reportedly finalizing a fight deal with Canelo Alvarez, the 28-year-old was on top of the world. All that was left was to confirm it. However, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh became a fly in the ointment when he managed to whisk Canelo away at the last second to sign the champion to a 4-fight deal, which led to the scrapping of the Paul-Alvarez fight immediately and leaving Paul red-faced and fuming.
Expectedly, the former YouTuber took it extremely personally and went on a rant online, ripping into the Mexican star calling him “money-hungry” and an “owned slave with no regard for the pride of the Mexican people who support him on US soil.” In a clip posted on social media, the Problem Child went as far as to show a signed contract between him and Canelo. Well, it looks like amidst all this, Jake Paul’s long-time rival, KSI, has found something that he can use to ridicule his nemesis.

Jake Paul’s blunder becomes KSI’s boon
On Friday, after Jake Paul’s tirade against Canelo went live, KSI noticed that the agreement Paul was brandishing in the clip was not a fight agreement but rather a confidentiality agreement between the parties made specifically so neither party reveals the contents of their negotiation. “It’s literally a confidentiality agreement, which you’ve now exposed you idiot lmao,” wrote the British YouTuber, mocking Paul for the blunder.

Who you gonna fight now buddy? Go remind Netflix that I’ve been ready fight you. I’ll be free after i KO Dillion Danis March 29th https://t.co/DfH2C4lLt1

Furthermore, the Watford native reminded Jake Paul of his empty fight slot on Netflix now and cheekily issued another challenge. “Who you gonna fight now buddy? Go remind Netflix that I’ve been ready (to) fight you,” wrote KSI, claiming that he will be free after his match against “Dillion Danis March 29th.”
KSI and Jake Paul have been involved in a bitter feud for years now, but a fight never came to fruition. Maybe this is the push that the duo needed to finally get their fight over the line. However, at this point, it doesn’t look like The Problem Child has anything else other than Canelo Alvarez’s bitter betrayal on his mind.

Canelo Alvarez’s last minute U-Turn
Jake Paul posted the video on his ‘X’ account on Friday night, revealing that Canelo had signed a fight contract. The announcement was due this weekend, but the Mexican took a 180° turn in the last second. Angered by the act, the former YouTuber claimed that the four-division champion “can be bought,” and doesn’t care about boxing as much as he claims to. In his tirade online, ‘El Gallo’ called the Mexican champion a “money-hungry squirrel chasing your next nut.”
It is true that the rise of Jake Paul is not seen fondly amongst the boxing fandom and the 28-year-old decided to play on that fact. He claimed, “The truth is, these sports-washing, shady characters are paying you hundreds of millions of dollars to stop our fight from happening. Because they couldn’t fathom the fact that they can’t create a bigger fight than me and you,” attacking Canelo’s partnership with the Riyadh Season and Turki Alalshikh. Paul has previously mentioned how a fight against Canelo would be even bigger than the Mike Tyson one.

However, now that the fight is out of the question, it looks like it is the perfect time to have the KSI bout. Fans have been waiting for it to happen and would love to see it. Because if it doesn’t happen now, we might never get it, which is a shame. A fight between the two would have been entertaining and something Netflix could have happily presented on their platform.
