“KSI Is a Cheater”: Fans Blasted KSI as the Video of Him Celebrating With His Brother Deji Surfaces After a Controversial Win Against Joe Fournier

The fight fans have been waiting for finally took place. When the fans started cheering for KSI in the very first round, it was clear who was the favorite of the crowd. However, the 6 round fight ended prematurely, with Joe Fournier lying flat on his back just in the second round of the contest. Moreover, it was how he ended there that caused a lot of controversy among boxing fans.

KSI dominated Fournier from the first round. He was very quick on his feet and used a guerrilla warfare approach. JJ would enter the close range, get a hit on Fournier, and then he would retreat. Fournier was on the canvas in the first round. However, it was not a knockdown. JJ had thrown him down during a clinch. During the second round, Fournier did land some more shots of his own. However, KSI landed a big overhand right punch, which caused Fournier to back away. KSI pursued him and tried to throw a right hook, however, what landed was an elbow.

Fournier as a result was knocked out, the referee missed the illegal shot and KSI emerged victorious. Even the commentators missed it initially, as they only saw it during the slow-motion replay. Michael Benson later shared the video of KSI and Deji hugging each other after their victories. Unsurprisingly, fans were not happy with the result. They blasted KSI as a lot of them refused to acknowledge the result. Some even called him a ‘cheater’. Even Jake Paul, who is currently preparing to face Nate Diaz, took to Twitter to express his disagreement with the result.

KSI’s victory under scrutiny as fans label him a cheater

KSI has been heavily criticized by his fans following his controversial win against Joe Fournier. After the video of him and Deji celebrating their victories after winning their respective fights surfaced, fans wrote scathing responses.

One of the fans, 乃丨Ꮆ 乃卂几Ꮆ 乙卄卂几Ꮆ, refused to acknowledge KSI’s victory and simply called him a cheater.

Anthony Swan Windom also shared his disappointment, stating that the only person who won was Deji. He added that if KSI got the win, it would prove that the Misfit is corrupt and allows him to do whatever he wants because he is the owner.

Darth Gus asked KSI to not try to copy Deontay Wilder. He also criticized KSI’s elbow position, which hit Fournier during the bout.

Meanwhile, Wayne King sarcastically rephrased the caption for Michael Benson. He believes that KSI lost to Joe Fournier via disqualification.

Another Twitter user, Carl Froch (Parody) expressed disgust and called for an investigation by the BBBofCuk or any other sanctioning body. He wrote that KSI didn’t win and called him a ‘disgusting cheater’.

One Twitter user named Rob questioned Benson about why he is giving so much attention to KSI.
