One would assume that KSI has reached the saturation level when it comes to tolerating digs on his boxing style. However, the rapper-turned-boxer is not one to take things seriously at all times. In his appearance on a British talk show, ‘JJ’ did not just laugh away digs on his boxing acumen, but he also joined the herd in cracking some fun at his own expense.

In mid-October last year, KSI took on his fellow Londoner, Tommy Fury, in a Manchester fight. After having fought a bit in the ring earlier, KSI remained sure of his victory against his undefeated opponent. However, when fight night dawned, his fans were treated to a surprise. Most echoed that he did everything in the ring but box. When the gong signified the end of the 6-round matchup, Fury was given the win on points, leaving KSI to face the wrath of his critics. Months later, when he continues to face the flak for his strange boxing style, he joins them in the chorus. Of course, in all jest.

Over the weekend, the 30-year-old, the London native, made an appearance on the highly-watched Jonathan Ross Show. Along with JJ, Ross, the host of the show that’s running for more than a decade, was joined by actors Jack Whitehall, Cush Jumbo, and singer Paloma Faith. The episode was entertaining and funny featuring KSI in his truest element. In one segment, when asked about his fight against the Love Island star, JJ refused to concede, a continuation of his stance on the fight that as per judges’ scorecards, he lost.

However, furthermore, he went on to note how good a boxer he is, especially highlighting his “style” as he put it. He highlighted that the stance he takes on the canvas helps him evade the heavy punches of his opponents. In the wake of his fight against Fury, he was heavily criticized for his fighting stance, which many refused to even consider as boxing.

He noted, “My previous fight with Tommy, I didn’t really get hit much, yeah that’s kinda my style. I have a lucid style that allows me not get hit much.”

The excerpt of this segment was posted by Happy Punch on their X, which has now become the center of intriguing reactions by fans.

Just for the ‘lols’

As KSI mimicked his fighting stance on the talk show, other guests too joined the boxer in the jestful moment. However, a fan thought that they were being disrespectful toward him.

Another user objected to the use of the word “style” by KSI. They found the usage silly.

Another fan was just glad and excited to see the fighter, who as per them was a shy person making it to the Jonathan Ross Show.

Another fan was appreciative of KSI for taking the conversation in jest and not making a scene of it.

Another fan, or maybe a critic, noted that the fighter’s stance looked as though he was doing jumping jacks.
