There is currently only one world champion who has knocked out every single opponent he has faced. It is none other than the Russian-born Artur Beterbiev. On Saturday, Callum Smith stood up against the Dagestani, hoping to be the first one to put a dent in his perfect record. Alas, Mundo was no match for Beterbiev’s power as the match ended in the seventh round with the former dropping to the canvas.
With all his wins and knockout rate, one begs the question, How does he do it? There have been countless videos of the undefeated champion showing his insane training regime and practices. But is there more than just training that helps feed Artur Beterbiev’s ridiculous power? Let us find out.

Artur Beterbiev’s strength is no miracle
It is very tough to go against someone who is the literal definition of ‘power’. Beterbiev is always the aggressor in a fight. He pushes forward, holding nothing back against his opponents. Beterbiev began boxing at the age of ten while growing up in Dagestan, so training in combat sports has always been a part of his life. Beterbiev started out with wrestling but was kicked out, so he found solace in boxing instead. The clips of his training routine were shared by Boxing Kingdom.

Beterbiev’s cardio does not even factor into the conversation as he has never had to hear the scores from the judges, yet he can seen swinging the sledgehammer with no signs of fatigue. His training, however, follows the same fundaments as that of the classic Soviet school of boxing which has produced some of the best fighters in the world.
Along with the usual strength training, Beterbiev can be seen doing some crazy wrist and conditioning training. Fans on X reacted to the Russian-Canadian’s insane sledgehammer video showing deserved appreciation. Let us see what they had to say.

Another thought Beterbiev was on Performance-Enhancing drugs because according to them, there is no way someone can do that at age 39. The fan wrote, “At 39 he shouldn’t be able to do this, clearly taking PEDs.”
