He said, “I think he [Amir Khan] is a good fighter. It won’t be where he is and you know you don’t become a world champion if he is not and yeah I do respect him as a fighter]. And he doesn’t seem to give me that respect. That’s where it stems for you know.”

Brook and Khan will relinquish years of ring-rust before they collide against each other. Meanwhile, ‘Special Kell’ may have something extra to worry about. He suffered a crushing loss to WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford on his latest outing in 2020.

Now, Amir Khan is training with ‘Bud’ Crawford for the upcoming fight, which can be a subtle warning for Brook. Although Khan had also lost to Crawford in the past, the current relationship between them can work in favor of ‘King Khan’.
