Tyson Fury is currently coming out of his retirement to face Derek Chisora for a trilogy showdown. While the embers of this upcoming fight still rage on. Fans have been anticipating what future fights ‘The Gypsy King’ has in store. In fact, Fury’s wife, Paris Fury, and trainer, SugarHill Steward, recently opened up about the prospect of Fury fighting Anthony Joshua.

Fury is set to face Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on December 3, 2022. Moreover, the fight will see him defend his WBC heavyweight title. Meanwhile, Paris Fury and Steward were recently present at the presser for the fight. At the venue, the duo was being interviewed by Queensbury Promotions. In conversation, they were asked if ‘The Gypsy King’ will ever go up against Joshua.

Steward stated that Joshua might be in attendance at the upcoming fight. Fury, on the other hand, responded by saying, “I don’t think he’ll be there. Have been keeping too scared. I think he’ll stay out of the way. Sorry I’ll be quite and polite. No he may, I don’t think he’ll be here. But I would like to see that fight happen. Tyson’s wanted it.”

She further added, “Whether it was as credible as it was a year ago or two years ago. It’s not. It’s true, Anthony’s lost a few times. And  Tyson’s still going on winning.”

However, she clarified that the fight will be a great one for the fans, regardless.

Paris Fury had previously spoken about Anthony Joshua

While the Tyson Fury – Anthony Joshua feud was raging, fans were also quick to notice Paris Fury’s beef with him. And it should also be mentioned that this was not the first time she spoke about Fury vs Joshua.

Boxing UK interviewed Fury’s wife after his fight against Dillian Whyte. When asked about Fury’s retirement and fight with Joshua. She said, “I’d love it to be his last one. I personally, honestly, think if the AJ’s [Anthony Joshua] might come along, I think he’ll take it. I know he couldn’t resist, but I think the truth of it is he knows it probably won’t. So think, this might be his last fight.”

It seems like with talks going around, the Fury vs Joshua showdown might just be around the corner.
