Undisputed super lightweight champion Katie Taylor will lock horns with WBO featherweight champion Amanda Serrano on November 15th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. While not far away, the fight has some time before it hits your TV screens. However, what couldn’t wait were the purse details of the fight.
The duo will clash on the undercard of the much anticipated Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight live on Netflix. While there’s quite the commotion for the Paul-Tyson fight, Taylor and Serrano’s rivalry has its own fanbase, as they return to the ring a second time against each other. Amid all this excitement about the clash, Boxing Kingdom has revealed that the Irish women might be pocketing a whopping $6 million in guaranteed purse from the event.
Turning to X earlier today, Boxing Kingdom wrote, “Katie Taylor’s purse for the Amanda Serrano rematch is reportedly over $6M US. The fight is the co-main to Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson on November 15th.” Undeniably, if this potential purse turns out to be true, it will be a historic moment in women’s boxing, making Taylor the highest-paid boxer in female boxing history.

Not to mention, this amount doesn’t even include the bonuses and sponsorship share from the fight. To top it off, with the $6 million purse, Taylor will significantly overtake the GOAT of female boxing Claressa Shields, whose biggest fight purse to date is $1 million, which she made during her fight against Savannah Marshall and Maricela Cornejo.
That said, Taylor surpassed even herself with the $6 million purse.
