The Jake Paul vs Ben Askren event may have just gotten more exciting for fans. Despite the event coming under heaps of criticism, Triller has now revealed a special addition to the card. Artists like Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, and others will perform on the night.

Paul will fight Askren on a PPV card on April 17 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. ‘The Problem Child’ has promised a successful event, and the latest addition to the card may help them sell the event.

Mike Coppinger was the first to break the news about the artists performing on the night. He took to his Twitter and revealed the entire event would last four hours. Moreover, he added, it would include ‘tons of music’ with several artists.

Coppinger then revealed the artists who will perform on the night. Justin Bieber, The Black Keys, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Diplo, Major Lazer, Mt. Westmore, and a group consisting of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too Short, and E-40 will perform on the night.

Therefore, this addition showed that Triller is doing its best to make this card a successful and profitable event. However, it could backfire as traditional boxing fans have already questioned the boxing value in the main event.

Jake Paul reacts to the news

Clearly, the news of the artists performing on the card is massive for the event. Having over five top artists perform at a boxing event is a first in the sport’s history, and YouTube sensation Jake Paul has reacted to the news.

Paul took to his Twitter and shared a picture of the revelation. He captioned it, “Justin I love you. We’re breaking PPV records April 17th. Belieb that”.

Thus, this comment showed Paul is a fan of the famous singer and he knows the event will sell.

However, it will be interesting to see how boxing fans take to this concept. This is not the first time an artist has featured on a card. Wiz Khalifa and four others featured on the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. card. Despite that, it did not impress hardcore fans, and it remains to be seen if it will on April 17.
