Over a recent weekend, hundreds of fans eager to meet Mike Tyson formed long lines outside dispensaries in New York. Tyson, at 57, has stepped into the forefront of the state’s burgeoning cannabis industry with the launch of his Tyson 2.0 line. Many celebrities in various fields have been capitalizing on the growing legalization of cannabis with product lines and endorsements.

Tyson’s entrance into the scene has made a significant impact, as it reflects the rising tide of celebrity involvement in New York’s evolving cannabis business. Moreover, Mike Tyson’s company Tyson 2.0 had a great year, and they celebrated the success through a video on social media, where they shared snippets of progress they made last year.

Unexpectedly in October 2021, Mike Tyson ventured into the cannabis industry. They had set up his line that’s expected to generate over $160 million in revenue by the year’s end. This success paved the way for other celebrities to follow suit. Joining Tyson in this lucrative venture was former WWE superstar Ric Flair, who teamed up with Tyson to launch his cannabis products in April 2022.

Subsequently, another WWE Hall-of-Famer, Hulk Hogan, expressed a newfound interest in the realms of THC and CBD. He became the latest addition to the business later in the same year. All of these athletes’ cannabis brands, Tyson 2.0, Ric Flair Drip, and Immortal come under the umbrella of the same parent company, Carma HoldCo. So, in the video, the fans can see all three titans talking about their products, and even the CEO of Carma HoldCo, Adam Wilks, was talking about his products.

Moreover, Tyson announced the involvement of another celebrity, at the beginning of 2024, and it’s none other than the famous rapper, Future. The fans were amazed by the celebration video posted by Tyson 2.0.
