Juan Francisco Estrada will make a comeback to the boxing ring after four months. He will rematch his old foe, Roman Gonzalez, in a 12-round super-flyweight title unification fight. It is the most dynamic, perhaps the most important fight of Estrada’s illustrious career.
Ahead of the fight, ‘El Gallo’ was in a chat alongside Matchroom Boxing. Here he talked about his commonalities with all-time greats like Julio Cesar Chavez and Juan Manuel Marquez.
“Well, talking about Julio Cesar Chavez and also Juan Manuel Marquez, who is and was my idol. The most important thing is their discipline. It’s always been the discipline.” he said.

‘El Gallo’ continued, “I’ve actually been told in some fights that I have some things in common with both of them, boxingwise. Chavez’ hook to the liver, Marquez technique, and that motivates me every day.”
Estrada exhibits an offensive approach towards his opponents and can walk over them. He seemed ecstatic with the fact that he’s compared with all-time legends of the game for a few of his techniques and game.

Can Juan Francisco Estrada employ his best prowess against ‘Chocolatito’?
‘El Gallo’ is extremely keen to take on the Nicaragua fighter tonight. He wishes to avenge his 2012 loss and claim both the titles on the line to become the unified champion at the super-flyweight landscape.

Estrada has spent countless hours in the gym to be in the perfect shape for this fight. He wants to roll out an enigmatic show for his fans and showcase his abilities in the biggest bout of his life.
