The world of boxing is set to witness a title fight in the super-lightweight division— Josh Taylor gears up to defend his WBO title against Teofimo Lopez. The bout is set to take place on June 10, 2023, at Madison Square Garden, in New York City. Lopez, on the other hand, is guaranteed a sum of $1.5 million, plus a share of the revenue from pay-per-view sales. Although the Pay-per-view share is not disclosed, it would be fair to say that despite Taylor being the champion— Lopez might take home a bigger purse given his guaranteed money.
