Going against a fellow unbeaten champion, Josh Taylor unveiled his A-game and dominated Ramirez several times in the fight. While both men had landed significant shots, Taylor claimed two early knockdowns in the bout.

Meanwhile, Jose Ramirez, who showcased his championship heart, did not falter before the final bell. Nevertheless, his grit wasn’t enough to help him retain his belts as he went down via a 114-112 decision.

The bout which went on till the last round absolutely lived up to the hype. It was intense from the very beginning and neither boxer held back whilst going for the win. In the initial part, Ramirez had some success as he attacked Taylor’s body.
