UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal is as tough of a fighter as one could expect. The former title challenger made a name for himself on the underground street fighting scene in Florida before making his way into the UFC. Since then he has had a rocky career, with a resurgence after beating Ben Askren and Darren Till.
Moreover, he would even beat UFC veteran Nate Diaz, for the BMF belt before he went on to lose to Kamaru Usman twice. While ‘Gamebred’ would consider himself tough, he thinks there is a man whose dedication to his craft cannot be matched. That man is none other than boxing legend Mike Tyson who Masvidal idolizes. However, even he was left stunned after seeing how Tyson worked out during his time as a boxer.

The Florida native recently shared a photo of Iron Mike’s training routine and was left stunned after seeing it. The first task in this routine was a 3-mile run at 4 a.m. This would be followed by a 10-round sparring session at noon with ring techniques and cardio at 3 p.m In the evening the routine focused on strength training with a full-body workout at 5 p.m and 30 minutes on an exercise bike at 8 pm.
Masvidal, who was shocked at this, penned a one-word reply to this routine, “Savage” he wrote. This certainly is a monstrous workout with no normal human being even thinking of trying it. However, for Tyson, this was a daily routine that forged him into a warrior who would eventually conquer boxing, becoming the youngest heavyweight champion.
