John Fury Dives Deep Into Why Son Tommy Fury Couldn’t Knockout Jake Paul, Warns KSI

Earlier this year, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury came face to face in an electrifying battle. In the lead-up to the fight, things heated up exponentially as both fighters threw verbal punches at each other. However, things settled down after Tommy tarnished Jake’s unbeaten streak by taking home the win via split decision victory. In a recent interview, John Fury revealed that he expected more from Tommy.

The fight between Tommy Fury and KSI is just around the corner, scheduled for 14 October. Akin to Jake’s fight with Tommy, anticipation for the KSI fight is running high among fans and casuals alike. And just like his fight against Jake, Tommy has promised to deliver a mirrored outcome for KSI. While only time can tell what’s on the cards for both fighters, Daddy Fury has come out with his expectations from Tommy. He even expressed what went wrong with Tommy’s fight against Jake since he failed to knock him out.

John Fury’s heavy expectations from Tommy Fury

While appearing in an interview with Rob Moore, John Fury went on to narrate his expectations from the upcoming fight between Tommy and KSI. John began by announcing his expectation that he would be highly disappointed if Tommy didn’t deliver a knockout against KSI. “If he don’t knock him out, I’m gonna be very, very disappointed,” said Fury in the interview. He further claimed Tommy is a way better boxer than KSI, but it’s only his mindset that stops him from achieving his potential. 

Talking about Tommy’s fight against Jake Paul, John said, “He’d knock Jake Paul out, only for the pressure.” John asserted the cause of Tommy’s failure to knock out Jake was all the pressure and the occasion. But he emphasized Tommy is ready for the fight against KSI. “Again, it’s mindset, pressure, the occasion, it all adds in. But again, mind-trained,” said John during the interview.

John even warned KSI about the upcoming fight, claiming Tommy now has the experience and has gotten used to being in front of a big audience. “He has got the experience of it, and he’s that much better. You know he can cope with it now,” Fury told the interviewer.

John went as far as to claim, “I don’t see any other outcome but a knockout. Whether it comes in the 1st round or the 3rd, it’s coming.” Justifying his claim, Fury explained after the Jake Paul fight, Tommy has gotten better. While John seems confident about Tommy’s win, what did KSI say about Tommy?

KSI will face Tommy in the co-main event of the upcoming boxing event on DAZN PPV. But before the fight actually takes place, KSI has some words for Tommy and John. In a video shared on YouTube by Misfits Bozing, KSI declared what he would do after the fight with Tommy Fury.

KSI claimed Tommy was the “b*****d child,” and no one cared about him. He further claimed he would knock down Tommy multiple times. Later, KSI wishes he gets to slap John Fury as well. What’s more, KSI even tweeted a picture of John with the caption, “Can’t wait to slap them tits after I beat up his son lmao.”
