Tyson Fury pulled off a special win in his third war against Deontay Wilder last weekend. He was already a favorite to win the fight, but this time, it wasn’t easy. This is because Wilder displayed massive improvements and stunned the Brit. Despite that, Fury came out strong and attained a stoppage win.

‘The Gypsy King’ seemed in the most ideal mindset of his life on fight night. But that wasn’t the case a few months ago. Fury once again became a father a few months back. However, all was not well as his newborn daughter was rushed to intensive care right after her birth.
As a result, the WBC champ spent almost every day with her at the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Recently, John Fury was in a chat with Sky Sports, wherein he spoke about his son’s poor physical condition at that stage.

He said, “I went to Alder Hey Hospital, I accompanied him just to keep him right. I said ‘look, you’ve got to do some form of exercise, just don’t sit in here. Let’s go for a bit of a run, you’ll feel better after it.'”
“I’m 56 years old, 20 stone, I outran him. We went for a run round Liverpool and his lungs were on fire, I thought ‘look at this’. My lungs? You couldn’t hear them. He struggled with a three-mile run.”
“He said afterwards ‘that nearly killed me’ so that’s where he was at four weeks prior to that big night.”
