Highlights of Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin
This fight proved that the Mexican superstar is a monster at 168 lbs. Though he could not secure a knockout victory, he defeated the likes of Golovkin with a huge difference. With the sound of the bell, Canelo pressed into Golovkin’s arch and countered every swing of Golovkin with a hard hook or body punch.
Jab, which was once a lethal weapon in Golovkin’s arsenal, could make no difference. Canelo’s defense and offense were so balanced that it gave no time to Golovkin to execute his game plan.
