The electrifying undisputed super-welterweight clash between Jermell Charlo and Brian Castano stayed true to the hype and attention created around it. Both the fighters put on an impressive performance to attain the tag of undisputed champion. But in the end, as this fight ended with a tragic draw, the fans were left disheartened.
The fight began on a pleasant note for Castano as he took Charlo to the corner to land his astonishing hits. He tried cutting the distance right from the beginning and came up with some slick attacks. On the other hand, ‘Iron Man’ took notes of his adversary’s approach and came out swinging in round 2.

In round 2, both the men viciously attacked each other and made this contest even more intriguing. Charlo, in this round, counter-attacked extremely well and he showed his power to one and all. In round 3, Castano caught Charlo with a combination of shots and it seemed as if the American boxer would go down on the canvas. However, he kept composure and stood tall.
The much powerful Castano continued with his attacks in the later rounds, showing that he was the more powerful fighter compared to Charlo.

As both of them exchanged some fiery blows with each other, their slugfest only got better in the later rounds. The undefeated boxer displayed his stamina and marched forward with his attacks on Charlo.

The tussle between the two went the distance and Charlo found his best momentum in round 10. He came out right on top with some stupendous right hands and smothered his opponent.

‘Iron Man’ and Castano didn’t give an inch even in the dying stages of the bout. They both landed some solid hits in round 11, and their high-voltage bout went till round 12. Both the men showed some exuberant class, and they kept the fans entertained throughout with what the judges declared a draw.
