Undefeated middleweight champion Jermall Charlo has slowly become a global star. Thanks to his impressive performances in the ring, charismatic personality, and status as a world champion, ‘The Hitman’ has gained popularity.

Now, in a bid to further his superstar status, Charlo will take on Mexican challenger Juan Macias Montiel as the main event of a historic Juneteenth card. And as he prepares to defend his belt, we look back at his fight purses and see how much Jermall Charlo has earned from boxing.

Charlo rose to fame when he worked his way up to a title shot against Cornelius Bundrage and knocked him out in the third round to become a world champion. Since then, the American champion has had one big PPV event after another.

It started with his fight with Austin Trout in 2016, where he earned a reported $500,000 without PPV. Similar paydays followed against the likes of Julian Williams, Hugo Centeno Jr., and Matt Korobov. This went up to $700,000 without PPV when he fought Brandon Adams and Dennis Hogan. Finally, his last fight brought ‘The Hitman’ his biggest payday as he pocketed a reported $1.25 million without PPV against Sergiy Derevyanchenko.

Although these amounts do not compare to that of the other superstars in the sport, it shows that Charlo is a bona fide star in the sport. Moreover, it showed his upward trajectory in the sport. So how much has ‘The Future of Boxing’ earned in his time in the professional game?

In total, the undefeated American champion has accumulated $5.05 million in career earning from his bout against Austin Trout. And this is excluding any PPV share from those bouts, which could have increased his earnings drastically.

However, there is no information about his fight earnings before the Austin Trout event. Thus, it is difficult to estimate an accurate figure for Charlo’s total career earnings. Despite this, we now know he has earned more than $5.05 million in the last five years.

Moreover, given the upward trajectory in his earnings, it will be no surprise to see Charlo earn much more in the next few years.
