The WBO NABO middleweight title bout between Jason Quigley and Shane Mosley Jr. was a boxing fans’ delight. The duo went all guns blazing against each other, thus sending the fans into a frenzy. However, it was Quigley’s night as he bagged a thunderous MD win.

In the first round, the duo showed their intent by surprising each other with many jabs and right hands. As the fight progressed, their tussle became tougher, and they simultaneously came out with their planned strategies.

Subsequently, the underdog, Mosley Jr., landed some of the most prolific hits in the later rounds and stunned the Irishman. He adopted a terrifying approach and improved as time passed. Quigley, too, responded with some solid strikes, but initially, Mosley Jr.’s approach proved too much to handle for him.

However, Quigley grabbed pace in the later rounds and came up with some of the best punches of this entire fight. As a result, he turned the tide in his favor and won the bout. He defied mid-fight expectations that had emerged due to Mosley Jr’s initial dominance.

Quigley decoded his fellow adversary’s style efficiently and implemented his game plan accordingly.

With a win over Shane Mosley Jr., Quigley improved his professional boxing resume to 19-1. Furthermore, he even bagged the WBO NABO middleweight title and made a firm statement in the 160-pound division.

Looking at his performance in this fight, it’s safe to admit that this is the biggest and perhaps the most important win for the Ballybofey native.

Additionally, this win has come in at just the ideal time for the Irishman as he made a comeback to the ring after almost 16 months. He was desperate to get his boxing stint back on track, and with this win, he certainly did so.
