Jaron Ennis picks a rap legend to walk him out
In a recent episode of Way Up With Angela Yee, the IBF Welterweight champion spilled details about his upcoming fight and plans for the future. During the conversation, Nah G Chill mentioned how Boots’ entrance is always something to marvel at. So, “if you get unlimited budget by Eddie Hearn, which artist would you get?” he asked.
It looked like Jaron Ennis already had a list prepared in his mind. He stated that he would like someone who has never walked anyone out before namedropping American rapper ‘Future.’ “I ain’t gonna lie, I would do Future. He never walked out nobody, you know he a big-time, big-time person. Future definitely be one of the top guys on my list cuz nobody walked out with him,” he revealed.
He didn’t stop there, hinting at a few other rappers he’d love to have by his side, before naming his dream pick: 50 Cent. He would absolutely love to be accompanied by the hip-hop legend, electrifying the whole arena. “I would mess with 50 too. I would let 50 walk me out for sure,” he stated.

Now, it is up to Eddie Hearn to allocate Boots enough budget to make it happen. Pair an epic entrance with Ennis’ signature in-ring fireworks, and you’ve got a recipe to ignite any venue. However, at the time, his only option to ignite the crowd is with a dominant performance. Something he is well aware of.
The best in the welterweight division
In a recent episode of Porter Way Podcast, Ennis revealed that he is not taking Stanionis or the unification bout lightly. Still, at this point, there is no one better than him in 147. He declared, “I know I’m the best in the welterweight division.” He also gave props to his Lithuanian opponent, terming him as the “second best.”
