A training video of Jake Paul taking shots at a punching bag has been doing rounds since late afternoon. Shared by his promotional venture Most Valuable Promotions, the ten-second clip has already attracted nearly 2k views, even though the retweets have been slow in filtering in. It’s almost two months since Paul lost his first professional bout to archrival Tommy Fury. Though signed with the Professional Fighter League, his next move is eagerly watched.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer took professional boxing in 2020. He had a dream run till last year, with the victory over former UFC champion Anderson Silva proving the proverbial icing on the cake. However, Fury, with whom talks of a fight had been going since 2021, finally showed up as a worthy opponent during their clash at Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Arena.
Paul appears to remain upbeat about the fight he lost by a split decision. Last month, much to fans’ amusement, Most Valuable Promotions even tweeted, “One month after the biggest WIN of Jake Paul’s career. He didn’t get the decision, but he got so much more from the lesson. The return will be that much more beautiful.”

The video clip attached to the message shows Paul hitting the punching bag and following it with an elbow stoppage. From how it appears, he seems to be practicing the clinching technique.
The tweet, viewed by over 5k, garnered a few reactions from fans and cynics.

Another fan who joined was @ConservativeUU, who called on the YouTuber-boxer to get a move on. He still has the time to regain whatever was lost.

It seems that the clip barely impressed @cfc_midget. Instead, he decided to pick on Paul’s hairline and told him to go full bald.
just go bald jake your hair is thin asf

One more to join the naysayers’ line was @boxingmutant. According to him, Paul appeared rigid and haphazard with the bag work. As a result, KSI would quickly take him out in the ring, @boxingmutant surmised.

After their February match, Tommy Fury and Jake Paul had expressed an interest in pursuing their ring rivalry further and having a rematch. Reportedly, it might take place by July this year. In the meantime, there are reports that Paul may face a professional boxer. Whatever the case, fans and followers await an announcement on ‘The Problem Child’s’ next fight.
