On the other hand, his opponent Tyron Woodley is 5 feet 9 inches or 175 cm tall. ‘The Chosen One’ has a 74-inch or 188 cm reach. Even in the UFC, he often faced much taller opponents like Kamaru Usman, Stephen Thompson etc. Despite his shorter reach against various opponents, he has still managed to secure vicious knockout wins throughout his extensive mixed martial arts career.

Is Jake Paul really 6’1?

While Jake Paul’s records show that he stands tall at 6 feet 1 inch, many online forums and fans have argued that he is well below his posted height. Fans have even compared his reported height to a picture of him standing in front of YouTuber KSI.

However, these are just online discussions and his official height is still considered 6’1.

How can ‘The Problem Child’ use his height and reach to his advantage?

Jake Paul is the taller opponent with a longer arm reach compared to Tyron ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley. With a clear height and reach advantage over his opponent, Jake ‘The Problem Child’ will definitely have an upper hand in terms of controlling the pace of the fight.

He could try to create and maintain distance between him and Woodley. This would allow the 24-year-old to land jabs and attempt knockout shots, while also blocking his opponent from landing counterpunches.

To counter this approach, Tyron Woodley would need to create angles to close the distance and deliver shots from inside the pocket.  Good defense and agility in his movement would be necessary in order to successfully knock out the Ohio native.
