In the post, they shared the “updated net worths” of different boxers, the list containing, former YouTubers like Jake Paul and retired boxing legends like Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. There were also the names of boxing promoters like Oscar De La Hoya, who has previously shared his desire to become the first Latino billionaire.

The sheer, absurd amount of money for some of the boxers on the list caused fans to go into a frenzy. The comically low amount of some of the fighters like Tyson Fury caused hysterical replies from fans. Fans were first confused about the authenticity of the list and only realized that the list was satirical after thoroughly reading the contents.

Fans react to the net worth of Jake Paul and other boxers on the list

Fans showed a lot of disbelief at the list, as numerous users came out and asked for the validity of the list. A user named Popsy Aaliyah expressed surprise at how ‘The Problem Child’ managed to accumulate so much wealth from his “ridiculous” boxing matches.

In response, Boxing Kingdom suggested that this was because YouTube videos do not require sanctioning fees.  

Another user named R_F complimented Popsy Aaliyah’s sense of humor.

Jonathan Lee Iverson expressed his confusion as to why John Fury was even mentioned. He also suggested that Michael Buffer‘s net worth was likely higher than the reported $2 million due to his trademark announcement. Buffer recently sued Disney, and he shared his reason for doing that on a podcast.

Finally, a user named Scuba Steve ₿ mocked Jake Paul’s reported net worth of $600 million.
