The enfant terrible has dropped another bomb. For the fans, though, he doused the fire fomenting with the news of a fight with The Problem Child. Top G Andrew Tate hinted at the non-viability of the much-anticipated battle with Jake Paul.

Talksport.com’s boxing editor Michael Benson shared Andrew Tate’s tweet, where the latter shared his trepidation over the fight.

Tate never minced words while criticizing Jake’s elder brother, Logan. The two share a bitter feud going back a couple of years.

However, Top G always appreciated the junior Paul’s forays into professional boxing.

When Andrew Tate and Jake Paul face each other

The two met in Dubai last month. While Floyd Mayweather toyed around with Deji Olatunji in the ring, the internet celebrities held a face-off of their own. Jake’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian, was in attendance.

Tate stated that multiple conversations took place behind closed doors. But, it proved a tough cookie as both camps failed to reach an agreement.

Jake‘s boxing has seen marked improvement since his debut in 2020. After all, he defeated three top-notch, though a bit older and out of form, mixed martial arts big shots, one after the other. Top G rather appreciated the youngster while speaking to Mirror Fighting, “Jake seems to be a person who is focused on his boxing career and is making his own money; he isn’t scared of getting canceled from a YouTube channel. He has a genuine career that he’s taking seriously.”

On the other hand, Tate probably last saw the inside of a ring when he hung the gloves.

Top G, life in the ring and the web

Thirty-six-year-old Emory Andrew Tate the Third has a background in combat sports. His journey began in 2005 with kickboxing lessons. Gradually bettering himself, three years later, his name figured among the top ten Light Heavyweights of Great Britain. Soon reaching the pinnacle of his trade, he won the Cruiserweight title during the 2009 International Sports Kickboxing Association championship, held in Derby, England.

Four years later, he added one more title to his kitty when he won the ISKA championship for the second time. After some time, though, finally, he bid goodbye to the world of combat sports. Soon the world saw Andrew Tate participating in the reality show Big Boss in 2016.

After an inglorious exit from the show, Tate founded a slew of online businesses. Among those, Hustler’s University turned out to be a box-office hit.

But his strong opinions and views, especially those on women, invited the wrath of social media platforms, which resulted in the unequivocal banning of his accounts. But, changes in the platform’s management led to a reinstatement of Tate’s Twitter account last month.

It will be exciting to see two celebrities exchanging jabs and hooks inside the ring. They made a mark on the internet and landed in the boxing world most tangentially. However, fans expect light at the end of the tunnel unless either camp finally dispenses the possibility of a fight.
