The pair seems to have gone out for cycling recently, revealed through Leerdam’s latest social media snaps and videos. However, one particular video seems to have won the internet over.

‘The Problem Child’ is coming off his unanimous decision win over former heavyweight champion and legend of the sport Mike Tyson in November earlier this year. The fight broke records and created history in terms of viewership. Regardless, Paul seems to have gone back to normal life since the bout.

Jake Paul can’t keep up with Jutta Leerdam

Earlier today, the 25-year-old speed skater took to Instagram to share a series of pictures and videos with the caption, “My favorite teammate @jakepaul.” The post showcased the duo dressed in matching outfits as they cycled through the city, snapping photos and filming moments from their adventure.

One clip, in particular, caught fans’ attention. It featured Jake Paul catching his breath after the cycling session, while Leerdam playfully urged him to get back on the road. Clearly needing a moment to recover, Paul replied, “I need like 30 seconds.” Paul later reacted to the post, writing, “Forever the peanut butter to my jelly.”

Leerdam also came back to the post, writing, “He has shoes in the Netherlands, but we didn’t take them here and he liked this more so extra hard work.” The lighthearted exchange quickly sparked reactions in the comment section, with fans sharing their thoughts on the duo’s dynamic.

A user asks whether it was all for a show

As a professional boxer, many assumed Paul would easily keep pace with his speed skater girlfriend. However, one observant user questioned the authenticity of the moment, asking if the photos were just for show since Paul was spotted wearing the wrong shoes for cycling. “Was this for show? He forgot to put on cycling shoes,” the user asked. Leerdam quickly came back with a response, writing, “Nope extra hard work hahahaha.”

Meanwhile, the next user felt Leerdam’s conditioning must be off the charts. “Her cardio endurance must be off the chart,” the user wrote. Leerdam does compete internationally quite frequently, so it shouldn’t really be a surprise.

Another user wanted to see Jake Paul speed skate. “The world needs to see him try to speed skate! And we need to see you dust him in a race,” the user wrote. Maybe a future video can facilitate the user’s request.

Jake Paul’s mother, Pam Stepnick, also chimed in. “The same outfits are killing me! Couple goals,” she wrote. From the looks of things, Paul’s mother isn’t the only one loving the couple.

Amid all this, this user seems to have taken issue with Paul’s socks. “Beautiful, but please next time with long socks,” the user wrote. Notably, cyclists wear long socks primarily for aerodynamic benefits, as they can slightly reduce air resistance. But also for protection from road debris, muscle compression support, temperature regulation, and maintaining a team aesthetic in professional cycling.
