Jake Paul has turned into the most talked about names in present-day boxing. He stays pretty active on his social media to mock his rivals. Ever since his win over NBA star Nate Robinson, the ‘Problem Child’ has called out enormous big-wigs from MMA, including UFC’s former welterweight sensation Ben Askren.
Paul will compete with Askren on April 17 in a boxing bout. He initiated the mental game with ‘Funky’ long back but elevated it after following the latter’s wife, Amy Askren, on Instagram.
The ‘Problem Child’ even slid into her DMs a few days back and received a savage reply from her. Subsequently, the YouTuber stopped following her and now only follows Triller and his management firm’s official handles.

After a win against Nate Robinson, Paul not only called out Ben Askren but also UFC’s former double champ Conor McGregor. The ‘Problem Child’ didn’t quite get a response for his callout from the Irishman and later started following McGregor’s long-time girlfriend Dee Devlin too.
The 24-year-old tried everything to get into the ‘Notorious’ one’s head but failed to do so. He even traced McGregor’s teammate, Dillon Danis, and added his ex-girlfriend to his following list. Paul has a whopping 14.6 million followers on his Instagram for now, but the number of accounts he follows isn’t even a percent.
The ‘Problem Child’ is gearing up for his return to the ring. Askren was an opponent in his checklist and he’ll look to annihilate him inside the squared circle.

Is Ben Askren an easy opponent for Jake Paul?
Jake Paul has just fought twice and put both his opponents to sleep.
However, both these wins have arrived over non-fighters. On the flip side, Askren is an MMA veteran who bagged substantial wins because of his ground game. He also has considerable standup fighting skills.

Paul cannot underestimate someone like ‘Funky’ who has hung around on a different side of combat sports. Though the YouTuber has an edge with his height and reach, the latter can provide him a stern test inside the ring.
Overall, this fight promises to be an absolute entertainer, and given the personality of both fighters, the trash-talking will be intense.
