Mike Tyson and Jake Paul exchanged some sober words online ahead of their July 20 fight in AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas. However, ‘The Problem Child’ isn’t ready to tolerate the Road House star, Conor McGregor. In a recent pinch, ‘The Notorious’ MMA fighter labeled the Paul vs. Tyson fight “a bit strange,” claiming, “I don’t understand it.”

So, the YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has hit McGregor back with a 60 million reality check for his criticism. The Cleveland native appeared in the BS w/ Jake Paul podcast on March 21 alongside his girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam, where he held up a mirror to McGregor with some solid numbers.

Speaking about his upcoming fight, the host of the show brought up comments from KSI and McGregor, who have spoken against the popularity of the fight. In response, Paul highlighted how much McGregor’s last fight was talked about compared to his.

“So, Conor, you’re saying that interest is low for the fight. But the last fight you announced, there [were] 1,000 articles written in a multiple-day span, people talking about your last fight. In that same multiple-day span, there [were] 10,000 articles written about (Paul vs. Tyson),” said Paul. He then proceeded to highlight the viewership numbers from his and Tyson’s combined social media posts about the fight.

“No fight ever has done these numbers in terms of faceoff views, Instagram reels. Just on our main pages alone, it’s like 50, 60 million Instagram views on both of our posts – not to mention every single other sports page posting it,” said Paul. According to the Disney star, such a feat has never been achieved in the history of the sport, so it will be the biggest fight anyone would ever see. Meanwhile, McGregor isn’t the only UFC guy criticizing Paul for the fight!

UFC’s top honcho claims Paul is after money, not respect

Jake Paul and Dana White have never looked eye to eye! Paul has taken digs at White during every chance he got, and White has done the same. However, as the Tyson vs. Paul fight draws closer, White seems to have accelerated his criticism of the younger Paul brother. While appearing in the Pound 4 Pound podcast on 21 March, White didn’t pull any punches.

The UFC CEO wasn’t happy about the drastic age gap between the fighters, 31 – to be exact. So, White highlighted, “You know Jake Paul did fight a kid his own age, and he lost.” He went on to say, “He doesn’t want to be a respected fighter – what Jake wants is to make money. People who follow Jake Paul don’t buy Jake Paul’s fights, so Jake Paul has to fight people who can sell actual pay-per-views.”
