YouTube sensation Jake Paul recently launched his sports betting app, ‘Betr’ trying to disrupt how online betting is done. However, it seems that he might have the perfect customer for his new app as he took shots at boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in a recent promotional video.

‘The Problem Child’ announced that he will be giving away $1,00,000 in wake of a new promotion for the app. Moreover, he even took some shots at the former five-division champion.

Jake Paul sounds off on Floyd Mayweather in his latest video

In the video, Paul is shooting in his home state of Ohio where his cap is blown away by the wind. He then called out Mayweather referencing the time he stole the champ’s cap and ran away. This was not all as he then told Mayweather to download his betting app so that he could pay his brother Logan Paul for their exhibition fight.

I’m going home Ohio got my hat. Shout out to Floyd, hey Floyd download Betr and maybe you can earn enough money to pay back my brother your scumbag,” he said.

Mayweather and Logan fought back in 2021 in an exhibition match. However, the aftermath of this event was filled with controversy after ‘The Maverick’ accused ‘Money’ of not paying him his full share for the fight. There was a back-and-forth between the two which seemed to have died down until Jake’s recent callout.

Floyd Mayweather reveals why he hasn’t fully paid Logan Paul

Mayweather made an appearance on the Pivot podcast last year, where he revealed why he hasn’t paid the YouTuber. He claimed that money from PPV’s takes some time to gather and that he himself is collecting cheques for fights over eight years ago.

The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while. Nothing comes right away. I’m still collecting cheques from fights seven or eight years ago. They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life,” said Mayweather.

It has been a year since the interview, and by the looks of it, ‘The Maverick’ still hasn’t been paid. However, Mayweather claiming that he is still collecting cheques from fights over eight years ago means Paul might not be getting his money anytime soon.
