Is Jake Paul‘s fat suit gag ever going to end? What started as a jab from Mike Tyson has spiraled into a full-fledged promotional spectacle. But how exactly did Jake Paul’s fat suit antics begin? Well, it began when Iron Mike made a snide remark at the New York press conference last month. “I don’t know if he is in his prime. He is fat. He should be lean and mean. He is fat and funky. I saw him with his shirt off over there. He is fat,” Tyson said insultingly. Ever since then, the Problem Child has turned Tyson’s “fat ” comment into a marketing tool for their upcoming fight on November 15, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
It all kicked off with a video that went viral. In it, Jake Paul, clad in a fake fat suit, lounged on his couch while devouring a bucket of KFC. Tyson’s “he is fat“ comment echoed on his large TV screen. “I am not fat. It’s heavyweight. F**k you, Mike,” Paul said while chomping on his chicken. Since that moment, the fat suit gag has featured in numerous promotional clips made by Jake Paul for his various brands, and he’s shown no signs of stopping.
In the latest video posted by Betr on Instagram, the Ohio native was again seen wearing the fat suit. The clip titled, “More weight=More power,” shows Jake Paul testing his power out on his buddy Derek, who can be seen wearing a body protector. Paul, with a belly bulging from the suit, delivers a strong body shot so forceful that Derek crashes into Paul’s Ferrari, parked behind them, seemingly shattering the car window.

But is Jake Paul actually that powerful? Of course not. The video was meant to be humorous, and the power of editing helped sell the illusion. The broken window? Obviously fake. “I need a new Ferrari,” Paul said nonchalantly. Additionally, it was yet another plug for his betting app as Paul asked fans to “Download Betr and play Betr picks.”
Fans in the comment section were quick to react to Paul’s playful jab at Tyson.
Is Jake Paul “pregnant”?
One fan, poking fun at Paul’s appearance in the fat suit, joked, “Bros pregnant. ” Some fans might be at a point where they wouldn’t want to watch the former Disney star with a fake belly. Isn’t the “heavyweight” joke bordering on the point of cringe? Apparently not. Jake Paul seems to be finding new ways to milk Mike Tyson’s comment for all its promotional worth.

Another fan made light of the situation, saying Jake Paul might have used the “I’m pregnant” line on his girlfriend when she tried to leave him. “When Bros gf said shes leaving so he pulled “im pregnant” move,” the follower commented. Before some people jump to any conclusions, Jake Paul’s relationship with his Dutch girlfriend Jutta Leerdam is still going strong.
For those still not in on the joke, one fan spelled it out: “Y’all can’t tell he’s wearing a fat suit for attention & engagement online?!? Come on be better/smarter.” Hopefully, Jake Paul is taking the fight as seriously as his pranks because Mike Tyson won’t be an easy opponent. After all, all it takes is one KO punch.
Not everyone was thrilled with the video, though. One unimpressed fan criticized the quality of the editing, writing, “Fire ur editor.” One thing is for sure, anyone, including a rich YouTuber like Jake Paul, would have been far more pissed about a Ferrari with a broken window than Paul appeared in the video.

Surely, it will take more than a fat suit to intimidate Mike Tyson or even do the opposite of that. Mike Tyson has his eyes on the prize. He’s been preparing diligently, eager to land a knockout punch that could put an end to Jake Paul’s ambitions of becoming a world champion.
