Since his last fight on November 15, 2024, where Jake Paul defeated boxing legend Mike Tyson (in a unanimous decision victory watched by nearly 60 million people), The Problem Child hasn’t had another showdown. While he actively looks for fights right now, beyond the ring, the 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer has been building his empire, co-founding Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) in 2021 and recently signing women’s boxing star Alycia Baumgardner and promoting major bouts like Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano in an all women’s boxing card. And now it looks like something new might be on the cards.

The Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano event is set to happen on July 11, 2025, at Madison Square Garden, and will be streamed globally on Netflix. Apart from that, life outside boxing is just as busy for Paul. Engaged to Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam, he’s been spotted training relentlessly, teasing his grooming brand W, and balancing his role as a provocateur with a maturing personal side.

However, his latest Instagram reel captioned, “Something’s coming 😶‍🌫️🤫,” with a well-edited video has left fans dumbfounded.

A post shared by Jake Paul (@jakepaul)

He dropped a montage of these moments—sweaty gym sessions, glimpses with Leerdam, W product shots, and Baumgardner’s joining MVP—igniting speculation about his boxing return. With no fight confirmed since Tyson, the cryptic post has fans buzzing. After all, what’s next for El Gallo is one question that has been plaguing the boxing world for a while now. There was some hope when the Canelo Alvarez fight seemed locked in. But we all know how that turned out with the Mexican signing a 4-fight deal with the Riyadh Season. Next, you ask?

Well, he did set his sights on Gervonta Davis. But the 30-year-old is occupied with Lamont Roach at the moment. As a result, Jake Paul is still hanging somewhere. However, MVP has released they have a two-fight plan for the YouTuber-turned-Boxer in 2025 so it is safe to assume that something is in the works. Could this announcement be it?

Is it a new opponent, a title chase, or another curveball from boxing’s biggest showman? Fans rushed to comment under his post, taking blind guesses or dropping suggestions on what’s coming next.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Jake Paul gearing up for a legendary comeback, or is it just another publicity stunt?

Nobody knows what Jake Paul is teasing towards

In one comment, a fan asked, “canelo?” The influencer has been vocal about his strong desire to fight Canelo. The latter on the other hand, sees it as an “event” that can wait until he retires. “The truth is, you could be bought. You’re a money-hungry squirrel chasing your next nut. The truth is, these sports-washing, shady characters are paying you hundreds of millions of dollars to stop our fight from happening because they couldn’t fathom the fact that they can’t create a bigger fight than me and you,” Paul had said to Alvarez on not wanting to fight him.

Another fan wrote, “Better be KSI,” pulling out the dead from the grave. Both boxers have been engaged in an ongoing beef that dates to 2018 when KSI called the Paul brothers for a match. In 2018, KSI fought Logan Paul for the first time and it resulted in a majority draw. For the rematch that took place between the two in 2019, KSI won via split decision in Los Angeles. While there sure was some buzz around his potential fight with Jake Paul for a while, the fellow YouTuber-influencer-boxer announcing his plans to retire soon had brought down the hype. And it still remains in the dark.

Some supporters even appreciated something boxing-related coming up in his feed after a long time, writing, Bro your always up to something love it🔥.  Another fan commented, He’s shutting everyone’s mouths. These comments perfectly capture how Paul has started making space for himself in the boxing world. At a record of 11-1, fighting Mike Tyson, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva has surely shaped his career for good.

One of the fans wrote, Love it when he drops these kind of videos,” with similar thoughts as another, Who’s making these edits 🔥🏆.Well, the fans appreciating the visual entertainment seems right. After all, that’s some sick editing! In fact, Paul has a knack for doing this to followers- dropping in something bizarre and engaging them with videos and teasers for upcoming events. And it seems like it’s working.

While fans take a guess at what move El Gallo is pulling next, what do you think Jake Paul’s post was all about?
