The British light heavyweight contender, Tommy Fury, is gearing up to face Daniel Bocianski at the Wembley Stadium on April 23. Recently, YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul spoke about Fury’s upcoming fight. He also shed light on a potential bout between the duo.
Jake Paul was talking to correspondent Marc Raimondi for ESPN MMA. In conversation, Raimondi asked him about Fury’s upcoming fight. Additionally, he also asked Paul if Fury is still a potential contender for his next fight.

In response, Paul talked about his expectations from Fury’s upcoming fight. He said, “Hopefully he does something that is exciting. You know, hopefully he wins in a violent way and knocks someone out.”
Talking about Fury’s previous fights, he added, “All of his fights are snooze fests. As of now, he’s not that good at promoting fights. You know no one really knows about the fight other than me talking about it.”
He even goes on to mention that Fury is currently not good for business.
While talking about fighting Fury, Paul was quick to emphasize, “He really has to do something to make me interested in that fight again.”
Tommy Fury as Jake Paul’s undercard
Tommy Fury was last seen in his US debut, fighting in the undercard for the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight on August 29, 2021. He faced Anthony Taylor at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

However, the victory was not the single shot KO that Fury had expected. He overplayed Taylor to pick up points in the four-round contest. All the three judges scored every round 40-36 in favor of Fury. This in turn made Fury the winner in every round, leading to his victory by decision.
The main event was also a memorable one. Paul silenced his critics through his sublime performance against Woodley. He is especially remembered for the spectacular KO that he floored Woodley with.
