Jake Paul claimed that his win over the next opponent, Hasim Rahman Jr, who competes in the heavyweight weight division, would pave the way to fight against the likes of former two-time heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

Ahead of the highly anticipated bout on August 6, at Madison Square Garden in New York, the social media star sat down with Luke Thomas of Morning Combat to discuss various chapters of his boxing career and recent highlights.
While discussing former sparring partner and next opponent Rahman Jr, Paul claimed, “Once I beat this guy, who is a heavyweight. Maybe that opens the gate to fight Mike Tyson, who is a heavyweight. So there is couple of different game plans here and I’m ready and excited for all of them. Regardless, the competition will become harder and harder with each fight.”

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul: The probable bout
‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ and the Ohio-based boxer are in the storyline for a probable bout. But this seems to be the favourable moment to materialize this contest because both are interested in taking shot against each other.
Earlier this month, the youngest heavyweight champion ever admitted that it would be interesting if he locked horns against ‘The Problem Child’.

Furthermore, he praised Paul for contributing to the sport. According to Tyson, Paul has achieved more than enough. He thrashed those fighters, who were most likely to emerge victorious against him.
Next, Paul also responded to Tyson’s remark. He wrote, “Thank you to the great Mike Tyson for the respect and opportunity. This year we are making it happen.”
It would be an amazing showdown if both squares off in the ring in the coming months. Before that, Paul has to face one of the toughest challenge of his career. He never faced a pugilist of Rahman Jr’s skill before.
