Recently, there was a question about whether Jake Paul would be interested in throwing hands with Tyson or not? To which Paul came up with a cheeky reply. He said, “Yeah, for sure. I joke with my friends about it. I’m like, I’ll start eating crispy cream doughnuts and move up to heavyweight, and take on Mike Tyson. That would actually excite me. That’s a 200 million event-$300 million event.”

“Mike, bro if you’re watching this, let’s have some fun, New School vs Old School,” Paul added.

Jake Paul and his eyes on the prize

The 25-year-old Problem Child, whose last bout was against the former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in a rematch named ‘Leave No Doubt’, has always had his eyes on the money. After his head-to-head battles against Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, Paul believes it is now Mike Tyson who can give him a pay-per-view that is significant.

Boxing fans are yet to hear Mike’s response to Jake. However, they still desire and honor Mike as much as they did when he was in his prime. Mike, who is currently 55-year-old and who made a comeback in 2020 against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. is still a shining name in the sport. Of course, ‘The Baddest Man on Earth’ once reigned the WBA, WBC, and IBF heavyweight titles.

Jake’s elder brother, Logan Paul, recently shared the ring with undefeated star Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a match that raised $50 million. However outlandish or exciting it may seem, honestly speaking, Jake Paul fighting Mike Tyson would indeed be a thing that would sell.
