Before Ryan Garcia arrived on the scene, Devin Haney had his beef going on with Gervonta Davis. And the two fighters were duking it out on social media. However, their beef could never turn into a real fight. And when Devin Haney’s team saw no future in trash-talking with ‘Tank’, they turned their head towards Ryan Garcia, who was ready to accept the bout. However, their rivalry was ignited once again in the boxing community, after Garcia leaked an old footage of their sparring session. In the video, Davis seemed to be dominating Haney, but still surprisingly, this didn’t change the opinion of the Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul at all. He still chose Devin Haney over Gervonta Davis.

Jake Paul has been mesmerized by Haney’s prowess in the sport, ever since he won his fight against Regis Prograis. He praised him on the victory and talked about how his performance against Prograis was so immaculate, that it put him above Terence Crawford. He branded Haney as the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter. Well, he’s again made his pick in the favor of Haney. After the sparring video got leaked, the fans started comparing the two fighters, Davis and Haney, yet again.

Because of this, many fans are siding with the Baltimore native since he was the one who dominated ‘The Dream’. That’s when Paul cleared his stance by writing on X, “Haney over Davis any day as long as it’s a fair fight without weight draining tactics. Any f***ing day.
