Jake Paul is busy planning his strategy for his upcoming fight against legendary boxer Mike Tyson on July 20 at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas. However, the former Disney star has managed to take some time off from his training to send a heartfelt message for the brave souls who laid down their lives to protect their country.

Hours earlier, ‘The Problem Child’ hopped on X to write, “Forever grateful to the men and women who gave their lives to make ours better.” According to a report from U. S News, nearly 61,000 soldiers sacrificed their lives while on active duty from 1980 to 2022, which translates to 1,400 per year. Not to mention, the sacrifices made during the Civil War, or WW1 and WW2.

So, Paul celebrated with pride the sacrifice those brave folks made, so the United States of America can prosper. Meanwhile, Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, co-owned by Nakisa Bidarian, has also released a heartfelt message, paying tribute to the people who protected the country with their lives.

In a tweet yesterday, the promotional company wrote, “Wishing you a blessed Memorial Day.” They further added, “MVP would like to honor the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom”. While the entire Paul corner paid their tributes to the fallen, the last couple of days weren’t exactly kind to ‘The Problem Child’.

Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul: Almost canceled

The 57-year-old boxing veteran was traveling on a Miami to Los Angeles bound flight on Sunday when he suffered a medical emergency. All of a sudden, Paul’s fight on Netflix was under peril of cancellation if it hindered Tyson’s ability to fight. Many fans were thrown in worry as the news started spreading, calling for the upcoming fight to be canceled with immediate effect.

A lot of people weren’t onboard with the fight to begin with, highlighting the sheer age difference. However, with Tyson’s health scare, people’s fear went into third gear as everyone started expressing their concerns. Not to mention, an old picture of Mike Tyson in a wheelchair started circulating on the internet, further escalating the matter.

However, Tyson’s representatives in a statement early Monday revealed, “[Mike Tyson] became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing.” The former world champion has since recovered and is absolutely fine. As of the time of writing, there hasn’t been any word on whether the fight will get canceled. Jake Paul, while throwing shade at misleading images of Tyson—hinting at his declining health, has suggested that nothing much has changed.

Jake Paul might not be widely liked, but his succinct message during the Memorial day celebrations indicate his sincere love for the country. More important, his gratitude towards whose lives were cut short so everyone else’s could extend. What are your thoughts on Paul’s message?
