YouTube sensation Jake Paul recently offered UFC star Paddy Pimblett an opportunity of a lifetime. The Problem Child challenged the British fighter to a sparring session in Puerto Rico, even offering a jet and putting up a million dollars on the line.

Despite Pimblett accepting the offer, he wanted the session to take place at the UFC performance institute. However, Paul insisted that the session take place in Puerto Rico as he countered his offer, even agreeing to appear on Pimblett’s podcast. For combat sports fans, this could be one of the, if not the most exciting matchups Paul has faced in his boxing career. However, former UFC title challenger and MMA legend Chael Sonnen thinks that there might be unintended consequences to this session.
Chael Sonnen thinks Jake Paul and Paddy Pimblett might commit a crime
On his YouTube channel, The American Gangster claimed that if there is any winner in a practice, it no longer stays that way. Moreover, he even suggested that it could even be deemed illegal.

“As we have a victory we no longer had a practice and as soon as your participation in the combat that is going to result in a victory is directly related to a financial incentive that little balloon we had where we thought we could all be boys and be a boy and just settle things the old-fashioned way. It is gone, it is completely gone, and a crime has committed,” Said Sonnen.
Given Sonnen’s knowledge and time in combat sports, he does make some good points about whether this sparring session could actually take place. However, now that Paul has given Pimblett his counteroffer as well, the ball is in the latter’s court as he gets to decide if he will face Paul.
