January 26, 2022, marked the second anniversary of Kobe Bryant’s untimely demise in a helicopter crash that took place on the hillsides of Calabasas in California. It sent a wave of shock through the world of sports.

‘Black Mamba’ is regarded as one of the best athletes around the globe. He played 20 seasons of NBA with Los Angeles Lakers and won five NBA championships.
Lamenting the death anniversary of ‘Black Mamba’ in 2022, celebrities from all walks of life celebrated the legacy of Kobe Bryant. Boxers Jake Paul and Oscar De La Hoya were among them.

Jake Paul magnified mamba mentality in his own unique tone. Remembering Kobe, he tweeted, “24 hours a day, 8 days a week #mambaMentality Kobe”.

Kobe had once defined Mamba Mentality in the Amazon Book Review. He said, “Mamba mentality is all about focusing on the process and trusting in the hard work when it matters most. It’s the ultimate mantra for the competitive spirit. It started just as a hashtag that came to me one day, and it’s grown into something athletes — and even non-athletes — embrace as a mindset.”
This is a sign of how athletes continue to hold Bryant in high regard.
Oscar De La Hoya posted Kobe Bryant’s picture on an Instagram story
Oscar De La Hoya remembered the 13-year-old daughter of Kobe and the seven others who lost their lives in the crash.

‘The Golden Boy’ posted a story on Instagram and wrote, “Can’t believe it has been two years since we lost Kobe. Remembering Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna all those who lost their lives. Kobe’s legacy continues to inspire us to reach higher and be our best selves every day.”

Kobe’s views regarding death were that he won’t want to die old. Instead, per Tracy McGrady, he said he wanted to die young and be immortalized.
