Jake Paul doesn’t mind seeing a change in the name of Cleveland’s Baseball team from Indians to Guardians. The native celebrity appears to be supporting his hometown team under any circumstance and a minor transition of tag isn’t going to change that. However, the Baseball Community has already witnessed sheer drama due to the recent scenario.

The MLB team had been carrying the name of Indians for a long time. But only recently they took an interest in changing it to the Guardians. Several notable people and the Internet community have already poured views on the scenario.

Now, Jake Paul took to social media and reacted to the whole situation. While he claimed himself to be a Cleveland fan all his life, this minor change hasn’t changed his emotions towards the MLB squad.

Chiefly, a similar change was implemented in the NFL when the Washington Redskins became the Washington Football Team in 2020.

“Been a fan of the CLEVELAND Indians and of course going to be just as big of a fan of the CLEVELAND Guardians… you can change the name but the ingredients are always going to be Cleveland,” wrote Jake Paul on Twitter.

Speaking about Cleveland, Paul will appear in his hometown on August 29 to pass the toughest test of his boxing career so far. Going against a former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, ‘The Problem Child’ will look to stage his 4 professional win as a boxer. That said, the venue might add an extra boost to Paul’s confidence which already appears to be peaking.

The 8-rounds cruiserweight fight was initially scheduled to happen on August 28. However, it was shifted to a day later, revealing no reason. Simultaneously, the possible promotional move and foresight that Jake Paul will receive sheer support from the crowd, intensifies the fight even more.

The event will take place in the Rocket Mortgage Field House amid a live audience. It will also be available on the Showtime PPV. The tickets are already out on sale online and the base price is $10. The official website of the venue reflects VIP purchases and every necessary ticket detail.

So, it’s evident that Jake Paul will have his friends and family in attendance. Although he is 3-0 as a professional, none of his former rivals were reputed strikers. While Tyron Woodley will clearly fill that void, a win against him will be massive for Paul.
