Jake Paul is in the headlines again and this time for his tweet on France’s win over England in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Ohio-based internet sensation has been keeping an eye on the soccer mega-event hosted by Qatar. He seems to be enjoying the exciting contests and passing remarks on them since the World Cup began.

So when England lost the competitive matchup against France he took to Twitter and wrote, “Hahahahad England all the way to a loss. Corny a**. Fighting a dude who has never punched a person in their life.”

This year’s FIFA event received a lot of attention from the boxing world. Before Paul, the undisputed Super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez had an intense exchange with the walking legend Lionel Messi.

The defending champion France came up with an early edge over England. They scored two goals, piling the pressure on the English team. Fortunately, the latter team got an opportunity to equalize the scores in the 84th minute of the contest when they got a penalty shot.

The moment turned out to be decisive as it was either going to send France into the semi-finals for the consecutive second time or it was going to produce a chance for the English team to equalize the scoreline.

But unfortunately England’s captain Harry Kane could not keep the hopes alive. He stepped in to take a shot in a nerve-wracking situation and could not bear the pressure.

He fired the soccer ball over the crossbar dashing England’s chance to progress to the semifinals.

With this win, France’s team will meet Croatia in the semi-finals.

The 6-0 boxer is coming out of a tough fight against Anderson Silva, the UFC great. This win has boosted his confidence and he is now eager to meet some big names in the coming future.

The most potential opponent as of now is the British YouTuber KSI. The duo went back and forth earlier and expressed that they will make this happen.

It is not confirmed whether they are going to fight or not but KSI’s manager has claimed on Twitter that the duo is going to meet next year.
