Jake Paul has captured the attention of the boxing world. After defeating former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, he openly challenged the unified super lightweight champion Canelo Alvarez in a match to decide the new face of the sport. The audacity of the challenge left the fans stunned.
But this time, it is not only ‘The Problem Child’ calling out boxers. During the fight in Texas, Gervonta Davis directly called out the 27-year-old on his Instagram stories. Later, during the post-match interview, Paul accepted the challenge to everyone’s shock. Things did not end here as a few hours after the fight, undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev also contemplated fighting the 11-1 boxer. But this time, Paul did not accept the fight outright, leaving fans confused.

Paul and Beterbiev have been involved in a feud for several years now. Things started when El Gallo stated that he “would rather fight Beterbiev” than Dmitry Bivol. Things heated up when the 21-0 boxer asked Paul to call his promoter and said, “If I’m a real boxing champion, I need to beat guys like Jake Paul in the first round.”
Just seen this….top 5 pound for pound fighter in the world calling me out. Hahahahahaha. 4 years in and I run this sport https://t.co/KsgajMVzvX

The rivalry once again picked up after the Mike Tyson fight as Beterbiev uploaded an Instagram story. In the captions, he wrote, “What can you do in the ring against the current undisputed champ?” It was a shot at Paul’s habit of fighting former and retired fighters and champions and never stepping in the ring with an active boxer.
The Problem Child reacted to the challenge on his X’ in a confusing manner. He wrote, “Just seen this….top 5 pound for pound fighter in the world calling me out,” stating how one of the best boxers in the world is calling out a newbie to the sport like him.
While Paul neither accepted nor rejected the challenge, he termed himself as the face of the sport in a cheeky manner. “Hahahahahaha. 4 years in and I run this sport,” wrote Paul, stating how he is already ruling the sport of boxing, despite being just four years into it.
The reaction by El Gallo has left the fans wondering whether the 11-1 boxer has accepted the challenge or not. And they are desperate for answers.
Fans challenging Paul’s ambitions
A confused fan wrote, “So fight him?” taunting the YouTuber to accept the challenge. After all, Paul has been desperate for a big fight to prove his boxing skills and there can not be a better fight than against Artur Beterbiev to prove that.
Another user asked Jake Paul to accept the challenge and wrote, “Accept it then and fight a real fighter for once.” So far in his career, the 27-year-old has never fought an active boxer and fans have always doubted his boxing capabilities because of that. This would be the perfect chance to change that narrative.

Another user wrote, “They see the $$$ you generate. Be careful against actual boxers though 😆. Maybe stick with gimmick fights,” stating that boxers are targeting Jake Paul because of a big payday and him being an easy target for the “actual boxers.” Ironically, the 11-1 boxer stated the same while challenging Canelo Alvarez for a fight. Even while accepting Tank’s challenge, Paul was adamant that the boxers needed him now because of the big payout he could offer.
Another user ridiculed the 27-year-old and wrote, “You Run this sport? Maybe the old folks home… 🤣joke paul.” He implied that Paul can only run exhibition fights against old boxers and won’t have a chance against an active boxer.
Another user wrote, “You don’t want that smoke,” expressing that Jake Paul does not stand a chance against Artur Beterbiev. After all, the knockout artist has won 20 out of his 21 fights via knockouts. On the other hand, Paul was not even able to knock 58-year-old Tyson out.
