This week Schaub sat down to discuss the upcoming highly anticipated UFC 281 event which would see the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya defending his title against intense rival Alex Pereira.

While talking about this, the former UFC fighter came across Tommy Fury and Jake Paul’s boxing scene.

This is when he talked about Tommy Fury’s boxing. First, he mentioned, ‘I love Tommy Fury’ and then added, “I saw one of his headlines go what he said? He said, ‘Jake paul and KSI need to fight me if they would be thinking seriously of boxing.”

Following this, he gave a reality check to Fury and cemented Paul’s image in the sport.

What did Brandon Schaub say?

Schaub, who fought in UFC from 2009 to 2014, said, “Tommy Fury I got news for you. Jake Paul is more of a legit boxer and had the toughest fights. He is fighting against f**king the best of all guy, the short guy, who won..”

According to Schaub, the only reason that entertains the possible fight between ‘The Problem Child’ and Tommy Fury is that he is the brother of the greatest heavyweight champion of all time Tyson Fury.

“You just happen to be the brother of the greatest heavyweight of all time. This is the only reason that entertains this fight. Jake doesn’t need to fight you to get validation. He’s gonna hurt him. You tell me Tommy Fury’s tougher fight than Anderson Silva. F**k you dude,” Schaub said.

He believes that Paul will knock out Tommy Fury. Fury and Paul were most likely to fight earlier this year in August. But due to travel issues, the fight could not reach fruition. But still, there is the possibility that this duo would fight, as they often go back and forth on social media, and Fury is still ready to fight.
