Mike Tyson will be heading into the toughest matchup of his career on November 15. He will be stepping inside the ring against Jake Paul at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and it will be streamed live on Netflix. Now, you might be thinking how tough can it be for a boxing legend, who was the former undisputed world champion, to beat a YouTuber who recently started boxing. However, certain stark realities have to be accounted for.
Mike Tyson isn’t what he once was. He might still have the skills but he is 58 years old fighting someone who is thirty-one years younger than him. Nevertheless, there is a slight hope that the unthinkable might happen. If the fabled knockout artist manages to KO Jake Paul out cold, it would indeed be a remarkable achievement. And, Mike Tyson’s team seems to be very confident that not only is he going to win, but win in an emphatic fashion.
In a recent video posted by Most Valuable Promotions, Tyson looked menacing while hitting the mitts. Safe to say, he was hitting them with bad intentions. To build up the fear element, a member of Mike Tyson’s team sounded off a warning to his upcoming opponent—“If the fight is today, Jake is done.”

Team Mike Tyson is pretty sure that if ‘Iron Mike’ secures the win, it won’t be because of luck. The ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ won’t be looking for one lucky powerful punch to flatten Jake Paul on the canvas, but combinations that would rattle him. Highlighting Tyson’s boxing prowess, the team member said, “He throws missiles, not just one bomb. But the bombs, they’re freaking one after another.”
Ruling out the chance of any lucky win, he further explained what Mike’s strategy would be coming into the fight: “We don’t want to throw one bomb. We want to throw missiles, one after the other.”
Several boxing commentators are worried about Mike Tyson’s well-being going into the fight. To some extent, the fear is justified as he runs the risk of being badly hurt by a younger opponent who has faster reflexes. But, Mike Tyson has signed the dotted line and is determined to prove his naysayers wrong. Meanwhile, is Jake Paul taking the fight seriously?

Is Paul more interested in trolling?
Ever since Mike Tyson called him “fat”, Jake Paul has not taken off his fake fat body suit. Moreover, he pulled off a bunch of stunts to promote the fight, as well as his brand. In one of the Instagram stories, ‘The Problem Child’ shadowboxed while running on the treadmill with the body suit. In another story, he was seen jumping rope while wearing the fat suit.
In another peculiar stunt, Paul caught a couple of ‘W’ deodorant cans thrown at him. Then, bizarrely, he deflected some cans thrown at him with his belly. That wasn’t the end of his antics though. In yet another video, Paul was seen trying to land a bottle of ‘W’ canister upright on his fake belly while lying on a couch.
